A. Actually "Autodesk Inventor" and "Solidworks2008" are the most best two and the most known, and easiest to use as well.

I use Autodesk Inventor v.11, it is very effecient, easy interface, and simple to draw and produce layouts .. etc. I 've learned Autodesk Inventor in only 2 weeks, and then I did so many projects with this software. it 's really nice and simple.

Students share this program (and many other programes) on torrents, you can download the free "torrent prgram" (2Mb) from www.utorrent.com and follow the instructions and you will find everything simple.

Then download the CAD progrma using the torrent file downloaded from any of the sharing websites.

A. No, it sounds like a fair price IF both parents have titles, have all their testing, bloodwork, xrays, etc etc etc... Yes even for a "pet" dog. It's not a very common breed, if you asked about a lab or a golden at that price I might have hesitated, but for a relatively uncommon dog that sounds fair.

A. It all depends on your version of windows. if it is XP you could be ok. but knowing that there wasn't a 64 bit windows XP to my knowledge. Then it must be Vista or Windows 7.In that case Autocad 2000 will not work in either of the versions. The best suggestion i would say is buy a copy of Windows XP and install it. the other option would be to buy a new version of Autocad but that will cost about $4000 if it for a professional license. that is the only way I know how to fix your problem.

A. Well, first off you should still get paid as an engineer regardless (instead of say a drafter or someone who might just enter others drawings).

I wouldn't worry about it though. First off, most places do not give co-ops technical work (true analysis or design work) and often use them as just data entry like you have been doing. Once you graduate you should still end up using CAD a lot, but your work should gravitate more and more to you doing your own designs and then drawing them up instead of just entering other people's designs. A good engineering firm will realize your talent and be more apt to give you raises/promotion because you are good at your job.

A. Nah, AutoCAD is a thing of the past. There are new softwares that are coming out that don't really rely that much on a person knowing how to operate the software as heavily as AutoCAD, so they're gaining a lot of ground on AutoCAD. Try something else.

Any one out there know of a good 'home solution' to clean light oak kitchen cabinets? Just want to clean them?

Q. I have heard that boiling tea bags in water will work, but not too sure.

A. One of the best things to use would be some Dawn dish detergent and warm water with a microfiber cloth. The Dawn will get to the grease but without being full of nasty chemicals. The microfiber cloth wipes better and more thoroughly than any sponge, rag or other cloth. Once you get started using those, you'll wonder why you didn't start sooner!

Don't use anything scratchy like steel wool on them. You will remove some of the finish and end up with a mess. Even if it is 0000.

What CAD program do I need to design a car, and the workings of it?

Q. I have been sketching cars that I would like to build, I have the knowledge on how to build cars. I am looking for a program that I can design every aspect of the car from the body to the suspension, and then have the software show the suspension in motion, and allow me to engineer the car until everything is perfect. It would nice if the program could allow me to do aerodynamic testing also, and have it tell me the dimensions of everything so I could duplicate it in real life.

A. Well, an AutoCad machine can do some of that...but you're talking about some serious engineering equipment...seriously, the software alone can run you up to 10 grand...

And that's not including the specialized equipment you'd need.

And the training (this isn't point and click stuff...people who know how to use CAD software make very good money doing so).

Oh and getting it to do aero-tests...well, you're going to find yourself in search of an investor or two at that point.

Don't mean to rain on your parade...one of my very good friends teaches CAD...after doing it for a living for quite a while. He's made a good living for himself with that stuff, but he's never found anyone other than a corporation who could afford to implement it....

If you top up the fuel tank gas gets into the evap system, the carbon canister that is there to store fumes gets saturated with raw gas and the line going to the purge valve sucks the gas into the intake manifold flooding the motor. You need a carbon canister with the vent valve and I would also replace the purge valve.

What is an easy but powerful website design software app?

Q. I would like to create BEAUTIFUL but simple websites for myself. I want to do it myself so I am not dependent on a 3rd party for each and every update to the content. But I only want to spend about 3 hrs training myself. My other criteria is to be able to create visually attractive sites, not like the cartoonish feel of something built on Yahoo Sitebuilder. Any suggestions on a software package <$400 that is simple to use?

A. In the long run you are far better off learning HTML yourself rather than relying on some WYSIWYG editor. Personally I use Crimson Editor (free plain text editor with some nice coder features) and get documentation from the internet. http://www.w3schools.com/ is a good place to start, but I usually find that Googling is usually the easiest way to get information when one search for a specific method or function.

How to find arc length, when given the radius and angle?

and the angle is 7pi / 4

the same for this one:

radius is 4.93cm
angle is 4.67 radians

circle: figure out your circumfrence...lets say its 10cm and the angle they give you is
20 degrees (20°00'00")

20°/360°= x/10cm
x is the arc length your looking for
cross multiply;

(10cm x 20°) ÷ 360° = x

so arc length of a 20° slice is 0.55cm

My point is this can be solved by cross multiplication.
I dont use rads very much so i usually convert to dms
